What we do

We’re here for children and young people in need of protection and care

Helping Community Solutions delivers stable, evidence-based residential care for children and young people in the CEO’s care who are unable to remain safely in the care of their family, from emergency care arrangements through to long-term care arrangements until a young person leaves care at 18.

Our approach

Care built around the child and young person

Every care arrangement at Helping Community Solutions is guided by our Model of Care, developed in 2021 in line with the Delivering Community Services in Partnership Policy. It brings together evidence-based practice and the applied knowledge of our care teams to support children and young people in care to heal from trauma and achieve stability and continuity.

We work in small, stable, structured teams that give children and young people the consistency and calm they need, and we respond to behaviours of concern by understanding their causes rather than reacting to them.
