Quality & Governance
The clinical governance, frameworks and legislation that make HCS a safe, accountable and trusted community sector organisation providing care for children and young people in Western Australia.
Care & governance
Helping Community Solutions understands the importance of clinical frameworks and the monitoring and evaluation of outcomes. Our Helping Community Solutions Clinical Governance Committee ensures we deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed service provision across all program streams, so we can achieve quality outcomes for the children, young people and families we support.
Our Clinical Governance Framework ensures that, as a community sector organisation providing care for vulnerable children and young people and their families, every care arrangement is safe, stable and of a consistently high quality.
Child safe organisation
Helping Community Solutions is committed to being a child safe organisation. We embed child safety into everything we do, from how we recruit and train our people to how we listen and respond to the children and young people in our care.
The standards we work to
Our practice is governed by, and aligned with, the following legislation and frameworks.
We welcome feedback from young people, families, carers and partners. It helps us improve, and it is central to keeping our care safe and accountable. Children and young people in care have the right to be heard and to raise concerns, consistent with the Charter of Rights for Children and Young People in Care.
