Kaya, wanjoo and welcome. My name is Jasmine Brahim and I’m the First Nations Engagement Lead at Helping Solutions.
I’m a Yamatji woman from the Naaguja Mob, originally from Geraldton, with Noongar Boodja now home. I’ve worked in the disability sector for many years, including building my own business, Stand Tall Support Coordination, and I’m passionate about walking alongside our mob to create positive change and help fill the gaps where support is needed most.
At Helping Solutions, we’re working hard to build culturally safe supports, strengthen connections with community, and grow opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and support workers. Whether you’re looking for support, looking for work, or simply want to have a yarn about what’s available, I’d love to connect with you and see how we can work together.
Stay deadly, and don’t forget to look after yourself too.
